ADAN Y JULIO, is a story of forbidden love set against the dangerous world of drug trafficking through the Texas/Mexico border.
Adan is a teenage mercenary on a quest for revenge, but when he meets Julio, the heir to the same drug empire that killed his father, his world is turned upside down by passion. Can Adan and Julio break away from the war-torn world of the Mexico/U.S. border, or is death the only escape?
ADAN Y JULIO will make it's world premiere at Lone Star Theatre in February/March 2013.
It was previously read as part of the Texas Reads series in May 2012, staring Raphael Eilenberg and Jose Sepulveda. It received it's first reading in 2011 at Primary Stages, as part of their on-going JAM Sessions program. Christopher Lopez (Mask, Lost Revolution) and Jose Sepulveda (Rent, Altar Boyz) starred as the star-crossed lovers.
